Will Makers Of ‘Lucknow Central’ Prepone Its Release Date?

Recently, it was reported Yash Raj Films' ‘Qaidi Band’ starring newcomers Aadar Jain and Anya Singh has uncanny resemblance to Farhan’s film. While the plot of ‘Lucknow Central’ was well known by everyone, the plot of ‘Qaidi Band’ was unknown. It was only revealed a few days back when the trailer of the film was revealed, thereby leaving director of ‘Lucknow Central’, Nikhil Advani, completely shocked.

To add more to his anger, Yash Raj Films announced that they would be releasing ‘Qaidi Band’ on August 25, nearly a month before Lucknow Central’s release date, which is on September 15. A source close to the film’s unit revealed to a leading daily, "Farhan’s film was written, shot and the release was planned months ago. Qaidi Band jumped into the scene all of a sudden and was completed in record time. It’s almost as if the quickie was planned to pre-empt Lucknow Central and steal its thunder.”

And now we have heard that the makers of ‘Lucknow Central’ are planning to prepone its release as they believe that that no one will watch two films based on similar plot twice. They think that people will lose their interest in watching the flick if it is released on its scheduled date.
