Will Student Of The Year 2 Mark Miss World Manushi Chhillar’s Bollywood Debut?

Manushi Chhillar made India proud by winning the most coveted Miss World crown at a grand event in China, ending the country’s dry spell of 17 years. Ever since she came to the country after winning the crown, she has been attending several events. And just like her counterparts Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Priyanka, who were also crowned Miss World and then joined Bollywood, she too was asked about the same question upon her arrival.

However, the beauty has said that she has no plans as of now. But, now rumours are doing rounds that the 20-year-old is being launched by Karan Johar for his upcoming movie Student Of The Year 2, which is the sequel to 2010 film Student Of The Year. The movie stars Tiger Shroff in the lead role.

As per reports, Karan met Manushi at Miss India pageant, Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards and was very impressed with her confidence. Since then he has shown his keen interest in launching her in one of his movies. The reports also stated that he might cast her as the second female lead. Unlike the first part, the second part will have two females and one male lead. There are rumours that Ananya Pandey, daughter of Chunkey Pandey, or Disha Patani might be the other female lead, however there are no official confirmations as of now.
