Wish you a very happy birthday Rishi Kapoor

Bollywood’s veteran and most versatile actor Rishi Kapoor has turned61 today. The wholefilm fraternity and his fans are proud of him, as his contribution to cinema is incredible. The actor started as a romantic hero in 1973 and didn’t stop ever. 90’s was the era of Rishi Kapoor when he used to stun the silver screen and his films earned the producers huge profits.

The actor married Neetu Singh in 1981 and the couple is having two children Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahani. Rishi Kapoor debuted as a lead actor in Bobby, a teenage love story characterised on Dimple Kapadia and Rishi. The film came in his kitty accidentally, as his father was not having sufficient money to sign Rajesh Khanna. The film worked as a milestone for him and since then he has a record of around 100 films. Rishi debuted as a child actor in 1970’s film Mera Naam Joker and also received National Film Award in 1971.

The actor not only showed his skills in acting but also tried hands in direction. The actor worked as debutant director for Aa Ab Laut Chalen, which starred Aishwarya Rai and Akshaye Khanna in the lead. His last film as a lead actor wasin 2000, Karobaar: The Business of Love and later on he was seen playing supporting roles in various films. His career is a mix of love, romance, sincerity and negativity. In 2013, Rishi did a total of 4 films out of which one is yet to be released. The film titled Besharam is a comedy ride where the actor will be seen essaying the role of Inspector Chulbul Chautala.
