With SRK, Even Our Silence Speaks: Anushka Sharma On Comfort With Her Co-Star

‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. As the movie approaches its release, fans are getting even more hyped to look at the on-screen chemistry of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Having done three films together, the duo has grown accustomed to each other. Recently, Anushka shared that they don’t feel the need to strike a conversation when they are in a room because their silence is quite comforting.

Their upcoming flick has been directed by Imtiaz Ali and will hit the screens on August 4. It is being touted as a romantic comedy and the duo are promoting the film with full enthusiasm. Anushka spoke to a leading daily about how comfortable she is with working alongside SRK and said, “When you work with Shah Rukh, you don't have to necessarily talk to each other. We both can be in the same room and just not have a conversation. He likes it that way. So do I”.

She added, “I feel it's pretentious when you are sitting with someone in a room and you have to, by default, strike a conversation or a chat. That's weird. With SRK, even our silence speaks”. Looks like their off-screen chemistry is just as amazing as their on-screen chemistry.

Anushka first shared screen space with SRK in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ which was her debut film. After that, she worked with the actor once again in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. Now, she has bagged a fourth project alongside the Don actor.
