Woah! Avika Gor And Manish Raisinghan’s Short Film Screened At Cannes

Many eyebrows rose when the then 15-year-old Avika Gor (now 19 years) played a wife to then 33-year-old Manish Raisinghan in Sasural Simar Ka. However, their onscreen chemistry was a bang on and was loved by all. The duo was since then rumoured to be romantically involved. However, the actors have always refuted the rumours.

The actors recently attended the prestigious Cannes Film Festival for their film I,Me,Myself. The film was screened at the festival and the actors attended the esteemed film festival for the second time in a row this year.  The film is based on the story of a teenage girl, played by Gor, and how she overcomes her fears and insecurities. Touted as a social drama, the film is being written by Avika and has been directed and edited by Manish.

From the entries around 33 countries, their film was one of the 20 top films that got selected. Kudos to you guys! The country surely has great talents. While Avika walked the red carpet in Reeti Anerja dress, Mnaish opted for a black suit.
