Yaariyan's Rakul plays the number game

Actor Rakul Preet Singh (left), who was last seen in Yaariyan (2014) admits to being very superstitious while
choosing her film projects.

The 24-year-old considers numbers one and three as lucky and tries to associate herself with them. “I was born on October 10 which in numerology adds up to number 1. So, number 1 has always been positive for me. There are many good things that happened to me on the 1st and 3rd as well, like my Telugu movie which was a huge hit released on the 1st, Yaariyan’s music that released on 10th December and became a superhit and the film, too, released on 10th January,” says Rakul. The actor makes sure to schedule all important events on these dates. “I signed a Ramesh Sippy film on a date which totals to number 3 and I bought a new luxury car and the total numbers on the
number plate sum up to 3. I try to keep most of my meetings on these days,” she says.
