Yashraj to distribute Big B, Deepika starrer Piku

Shoojit Sircar’s underproduction ‘Piku’ is all set to have big release. Produced under the MSM Motion Pictures banner, the film will be distributed by ace campaigners Yashraj films.

Yashraj films has bagged the distribution rights of the film ensuring the film has a wide release in key markets both domestic and overseas. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan, Piku is a light hearted family drama that has Deepika playing the title role. While the film was mostly shot in Kolkata, the final schedule has to come to definite wrap only with some patch work left perhaps. After posting two back to back interesting offerings in the recent past with Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe, Shoojit is all set for a mesmerising ride again. The film is expected to release in mid of this year.
