    The season of awards is not over yet! Zee Cine Awards 2016 took place and Bajirao swept maximum awards.

    From the Best film (jury) to Best director (jury), Ranveer Singh also shared the Best actor male with Big B for Piku.

    His lady love bagged the Best actor female (jury) for Piku. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo won the Song of the year (viewers’ choice) and the Best film (viewers’ choice) went to Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

    Deepika was also given the Best actress (viewers’ choice) – Deepika Padukone for Bajirao Mastani, while Best actor (viewers’ choice) was Salman Khan for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Best debutant male went to Vicky Kaushal for Masaan and Best debutant female – Bhumi Pednekar for Dum Laga Ke Haisha & Harshali Malhotra for Bajrangi Bhaijaan.Neeraj Ghaywan won the Best debutant director for Masaan.

    Interestingly, Best actor in a comic role and Best actor in a negative role both went to Nawazuddin Siddiqui for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Badlapur. 

    Best supporting actor female was Shweta Tripathi for Masaan and Best supporting actor male – Sanjay Mishra for Masaan.

    Technical category got a good mix of winners too!

    Best background score – Sanchit Balhara for Bajirao Mastani

    Best visual effects – Prasad Sutar for Bajirao Mastani

    Best action – Shyam Kaushal for Bajirao Mastani

    Best choreography – Ganesh Acharya for Malhari -Bajirao Mastani

    Best cinematography – Sudeep Chatterjee for Bajirao Mastani

    Best story – Juhi Chaturvedi for Piku

    Best dialogue – Juhi Chaturvedi for Piku

    Best screenplay – Juhi Chaturvedi for Piku

    Best lyrics – Varun Grover for Moh Moh Ke Dhaagey - Dum Laga Ke Haisha

    Best music – Anu Malik for Dum Laga Ke Haisha

    Best female playback singer – Shreya Ghoshal for Mohe Rang Do Lal - Bajirao Mastani

    Best male playback singer – Mohit Chauhaan for Matargashti - Tamasha and Arijit Singh for Sooraj Dooba- Roy

    Ajay Devgn got the award for his Outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.
