21-Year Old Drowned in Demi Moore’s Pool

Demi Moore received shocking news of a 21-year old Edenilson Steven Valle who drowned in the pool of her Los Angeles home. The incident happened during a party hosted by her assistant while Moore was out of the country. According to Valle’s family and friends, Steven did not know how to swim.

Moore said, through her publicist Heidi Lopata, “I am in absolute shock. I was out of the country traveling to meet my daughters for a birthday celebration when I got the devastating news”. She added that it was an “unthinkable tragedy, and my heart goes out to this young man's family and friends”. According to Los Angeles County coroner Lt. Fred Corral, Steven was missing from the party for about 10 – 15 minutes after which his friends found a body floating in the pool.

The 911 call was made at 5:15 a.m. Corral said that the paramedics started CPR but they were unable to resuscitate him. Steven was announced dead at the scene at 5:30 a.m.
