Actor Jason Hall Talks About Being On The Other Side Of The Camera

Known for his role in films like ‘Game Day’ and ‘American Sniper’ and the famed TV series, ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’, actor Jason Hall will now be stepping into the realm of direction with his upcoming film ‘Thank You For Your Service’. Jason has previously ventured into writing and producing as well. The actor recently spoke about his experience as a director and said that he is happy to be behind the camera.

“I'm thrilled to have been given the opportunity to bring this story to the screen and couldn't feel more prepared or qualified to do it. It's a subject near and dear to my heart”, Jason shared. Talking about whether he would get back to acting, the actor said he will only do so if he didn’t get “the right type of part”. He added that he is “very happy being behind the camera”.

‘Thank You For Your Service’ will hit theatres on November 24. The cast includes Miles Teller, Amy Schumer, Keisha Castle-Hughes and Haley Bennett, along with others. The movie focuses on post traumatic stress disorder and Jason wants the civilian population to get closer to understanding the veteran sacrifice.
