    Actress Ann Morgan Guilbert Dies At 87

    Actress Ann Morgan Guilbert is dead, her daughter announced. She was 87. According to the Associated Press, she had been battling cancer at the time of her death. No other details were released.

    Guilbert's 56 film and TV credits, some as just ‘Ann Guilbert,’ include roles on ‘My Three Sons,’ ‘I Dream of Jeannie,’ ‘The New Andy Griffith Show,’ ‘Modern Family,’ ‘Grey's Anatomy,’ ‘Home Improvement’ (as Wilson's mother) and, most recently as GiGi on CBS' new comedy ‘Life in Pieces.’ She also appeared on Broadway in productions of ‘A Naked Girl’ and ‘To Kill a Mockingbird.’

    Guilbert had extensive theatre credits, including the 2005 Broadway play, ‘The Naked Girl on the Appian Way,’ and productions of ‘The Matchmaker,’ ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’ and ‘Harvey.’ She was married twice. After her marriage to producer-writer George Eckstein ended in divorce, she married actor Guy Raymond, who died in 1997.
