    Adam Sandler And Joe Wright To Be Awarded At Hollywood Film Awards

    Hollywood actor Adam Sandler and director Joe Wright will be honoured at Hollywood Film Awards. According to sources, Sandler will be presented with the Hollywood Comedy Award for his performance in the feature film 'The Meyerowitz Stories', while Joe will receive the Hollywood Director Award for the Focus Features film 'Darkest Hour'. 'Darkest Hour' starred Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill along with Ben Mendelsohn, Kristin Scott Thomas, Lily James, Stephen Dillane and Ronald Pickup.



    Apart from the above two stars, there will be many celebrities who will be conferred with the various awards. Last week, an announcement was made that Jake Gyllenhaal and Kate Winslet will also be awarded at the star-studded ceremony. While Kate will be awarded with the Hollywood Actress Award for her role in 'Wonder Wheel' directed by Woody Allen, Gyllenhaal will be presented with the Hollywood Actor Award for his portrayal of Boston marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman in 'Stronger'.



    Further, Jamie Bell will be given New Hollywood Actor Award for his performance in 'Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool'. Musicians Diane Warren, Common and Andra Day will be presented with the Hollywood Song Award for the original song, 'Stand Up for Something,' from the film 'Marshall'. In addition, the cast of 'The Big Sick', including Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter and Ray Romano, will receive the Hollywood Comedy Ensemble Award at the event.
