Adele To Headline The Pyramid Stage At Glastonbury This Year

As per recent reports, singer-songwriter Adele will appear as the star performer at Glastonbury Festival in England this year. The event will be held from June 22 to June 26. The astounding singer made the announcement while performing on stage at London's O2, on March 18.

According to reports by the People Magazine, Adele asked the fans “"Who's going to Glastonbury this year?” and said, “See you there. I'll be there. I'll be headlining on the Saturday night this year." "I've had to keep that secret for years!” the singer added.

The news was confirmed by Glastonbury later on the social networking site Twitter. The organizer of the festival said, “"What a great honor it is to have the wonderful Adele confirmed for this year's Saturday night headline spot!” Reportedly, the pop star is currently on her world tour in Belfast, England.
