    The popular mobile game Fruit Ninja, is being adapted into a movie by Vinson Films, the production company confirmed to EW. According to THR, the film will be a live-action family comedy based on the second-highest-selling iOS game of all time. The target of the Fruit Ninja game is to slice up as many pieces of produce as possible.

    Fruit Ninja is the second top-selling iOS game ever. The addictive game is already having over one billion downloads since it was introduced in 2010 and is now ready to be made as a live-action comedy the whole family can enjoy .The Fruit Ninja film is being produced by Tripp Vinson (San Andreas, The Number 23) at his company Vinson Films.


    J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani are writing the script though plot details haven’t been made available. The pair who is only screenwriting credit includes The 59th Primetime Emmy Awards are also adapting Chuck Sambuchino's humour book How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack: Defend Yourself When the Lawn Warriors Strike. Sam White and Tara Farney are serving as executive producers. No director is appointed yet.
