Alden Ehrenreich Cast As Young Han Solo?

Looks like Disney and Lucasfilm have found the young Han Solo they were looking for. The buzz suggests that Hail, Caesar! actor Alden Ehrenreich has been roped in for the Star Wars story film that tells the story of a young Han Solo. The movie will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Alden was among the five candidates for the role including Jack Reynor, Taron Egerton, Jack O’Connell and Blake Jenner. The actor is known from his role in movies like ‘Blue Jasmine’, ‘Stoker’ and ‘Twixt’. This year, he will be seen in Alexandre Moors’ ‘The Yellow Birds’ and a Warren Beatty project.

Earlier, it was stated that Chewbacca will also be present in the Han Solo Star Wars Story film. It will have screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan. Lawrence will also be executive producing the project alongside Jason McGatlin. The movie will be released on May 25, 2018.
