Alden Ehrenreich Has Three Han Solo Movies In The Pipeline?

The search for a young Han Solo for the standalone film recently ended and the filmmakers chose Alden Ehrenreich for the role. The announcement was made at the Star Wars Celebration event. Now, The New York Daily News has reported that the actor has signed a three-picture deal with Disney and Lucasfilm.

According to an insider, “There is a real sense of excitement around the Han Solo movie and its potential. Given that Han’s early adventures do not need to be tied to the Empire, it leaves story lines open with the opportunity to really give fans something different. They can explore new galaxies and crazy creatures and bring in a wide array of new characters”, reported the daily.

The Han Solo film will tell the origin story of the intergalactic smuggler. The screenplay will be written by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan. Han will be accompanied by Chewbacca who will also be present in the film. Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the movie will hit the screens on May 25, 2018.
