Alexander Skarsgard starrer Tarzan’s release date announced

It has been reported that Tarzan, a project by Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and starring Alexander Skarsgard in the lead role, is scheduled to open on July 1, 2016. While the half-bare character of Tarzan will be played by Alexander, Margot Robbie of The Wolf of Wall Street fame will appear as his lady-love, Jane.

Tarzan is a big screen adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ epic creation. The movie will also star Django Unchained co-actors Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz. The 3D live-action flick will be produced by David Barron and Alan Riche. Tarzan is presently in its pre-production stage as the production got postponed last year. This film adaptation will retell the story of Tarzan who comes back to London after he was left behind in a jungle all alone as an infant. This new adaptation is also expected to give a fresh twist to the yesteryear tale of Tarzan.
