Alfred Is A Stickler For Staying The Same: Jeremy Irons On Alfred’s Role In Justice League

After playing the role of Alfred in this years Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Jeremy Irons is all set to reprise the same in the upcoming flick ‘Justice League’. The actor was recently present at the Assassin’s Creed junket where he spoke about playing Alfred once again. He shared that Alfred is “a stickler for staying the same”.

The trailer for Justice League showed that the movie will have a more lighter and fun tone compared to other DC films. When asked if Alfred will change accordingly, Jeremy said, “No, Alfred is a stickler for staying the same. He tries to modulate everybody else. In a very gentle, English way he tries to deal with these people who can do all these extraordinary things in a very calm way, a very grounded way. He does not modulate at all. He sometimes lets Bruce Wayne out a bit on the lead, but he’s still attached”.

‘Justice League’ will be directed by Zack Snyder with Ben Affleck returning as Batman. Gal Gadot will reprise her role as Wonder Woman as well. Jason Momoa will also return as Aquaman after making a short appearance in Dawn of Justice, along with Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller.
