Alien: Covenant In The Making

Ridley Scott has embarked on a journey to the land down under to begin the production of his upcoming film Alien: Covenant. The movie will be a sequel to the hit 1979 film Alien that was also helmed by him. It is expected that the movie will get an R rating as almost all the Alien movies have received the same.

The Martian director said, “I always remember walking down the edge in Saint Louis when we were previewing [Alien].  I couldn’t sit through the film one more time. I walked down the edge into the kitchen scene when John Hurt started to bring up his breakfast. That moment, I realized how pretty scary the film was… I felt a sense of responsibility that I had gone too far because it was extreme. I’m going to try and do that again this year, but much worse”.

Alien: Covenant will hit theatres on October 6, 2017. The cast will include Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender and Katherine Waterston. The screenplay will be written by Jack Paglen and Michael Green.
