Amber Heard Files For Divorce From Johnny Depp

Amber Heard has filed for divorce from Johnny Depp after about 15 months of marriage, People confirmed on Wednesday. TMZ first reported the news, alleging that Heard filed a divorce petition on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences. Depp and Heard, who met on the set of ‘The Rum Diary’ in 2011, began dating in June 2012 after Depp ended his 14-year relationship with actress Vanessa Paradis. He married Heard in February 2015 in the Bahamas.

The 52-year-old is reportedly worth $400 million, and when Amber filed divorce papers on May 23, she asked for spousal support, according to TMZ. Johnny filed response papers rejecting her request. We recently saw the couple together publicly when they filmed an apology video for smuggling their dogs into Australia.
