Amy Adams To Return As Giselle In Sequel Of ‘Enchanted’

The talks about sequel of fantasy romantic comedy film ‘Enchanted’ surfaced for several months. Early this month, it was confirmed that Adam Shankman, who helmed hit 2007 film ‘Hairspray’, has been appointed as the director. Now another interesting update about the project has come out of the closet.

Much to the delight of the fans, Amy Adams will continue to play the role of princess Giselle in the second instalment as well. The first part was directed by Kevin Lima and the movie went up to gross over $340 million worldwide. It will be a huge challenge for Shankman to carve out a sequel as magnificent as the prequel.

Reportedly, the next part has been titled ‘Disenchanted’, and it will again feature both New York City and Andalasia. The story will take a leap of 10 years and the princess will start questioning her life, which causes some turmoil. The shooting of the film is expected to start next summers.
