    Amy Landecker Roped In For Doctor Strange

    According to The Warp, Transparent fame Amy Landecker has been roped in for the Marvel comic-book remake of Doctor Strange. The details of Amy’s character have not been revealed as yet. The film already stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Stuhlbarg, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton and Rachel McAdams in prominent roles.

    The Hollywood actress has previously worked with Stuhlbarg in Coen Brothers’ A Serious Man. Michael Stuhlbarg, in Doctor Strange, will be seen essaying the role of rival neurosurgeon Dr. Nicodemus West to Stephen Strange, which is the titular role and will be portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch. Tilda Swinton is reportedly playing the role of Strange’s mentor.

    To be helmed by Scott Derrickson, the story of the flick has been penned by Jon Spaihts. Doctor Strange is expected to go on floors in December. The flick is scheduled to hit the theatres in November next year.
