Angelina Jolie Exits ‘Africa’ Because Of Brad Pitt

With the whole industry shocked with the news of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce, the workflow for the film ‘Africa’ is now taking a hit. Angelina was supposed to direct the project with Brad set as the lead actor. Now, the actress has left the project because she does not want to work with her estranged husband.

According to Heat Street, a source stated, “This movie has been a nightmare to get off the ground from the beginning. Until the last few weeks, Angelina was resolute in her intent to get it made, but now she doesn’t want to direct it at all”. The source also added that Brad was still interested in completing the project but Angelina has no intentions of maintaining a personal or a professional relationship with him.

According to reports, the team was supposed to start working on the film from next year as it has been in pre-production for several years. Jolie reportedly had some creative differences with Skydance Productions, because of which, it got delayed. It was believed that the actor-director did not like the love story that was originally pitched for the film. There were also some financial problems to get the project going.

Reportedly, Jolie is not letting Pitt meet their kids, at least until the FBI investigation has been completed.
