Hollywood actress-filmmaker Angelina Jolie wants her eldest son to run charity. Jolie, who has been cited as Hollywood's highest-paid actress, is well-known for her humanitarian efforts also. The actress adopted her eldest son Maddox in 2002. She runs a charity named after him in Cambodia and wants him to take charge of it in the future.

The 40-year-old Oscar-winning actress said that her eldest son will take over the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation. Angelina set up this foundation in Cambodia 12 years ago "to help local families overcome problems associated with poverty in the region and to help preserve the remarkable habitat and wildlife for future generations" reported People magazine.

When asked whether he will be involved in her next project, “First they Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers”, the director replied "Maddox will be on set every day after school and involved behind the scenes. And yes, Maddox is already involved in the Foundation and will take over my role when he is older". Maddox has been hired as a researcher on Jolie’s new film.
