Netflix is developing an animated stop-motion film titled ‘Wendell and Wild’ for which comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele have been roped in. Keegan and Jordan had been doing comedy sketches together for a very long time, till the final season of their show ‘Key and Peele’. Now, they will be voicing the lead characters in the Netflix movie which is being directed by Henry Selick.

The duo will be portraying Wendell and Wild, two demon brothers who will be battling their arch enemy to get out of hell. Peele is working with Selick to write the script for the project. He will also be producing alongside the director and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, as well as Sarah Serata. Pablo Lobato, an Argentinean artist, will develop the characters of Wendell and Wild.

Jordan Peele recently won an original screenplay Oscar for ‘Get Out’. He also has a few projects in the making which include an untitled thriller which is being directed and produced by him. ‘ Black Klansman’ is another production venture that he is undertaking. It would be quite entertaining to see Key and Peele back together after their lukewarm performer ‘Keanu’.
