Anna Kendrick And Blake Lively In Negotiation To Star In 'A Simple Favour'

Director Paul Feig, who is famous for directing ‘Bridesmaids’ and ‘Spy’, is in early talks with actresses Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively to star in his upcoming film titled 'A Simple Favour'. The movie is expected to start rolling in August this year in Toronto. Apart from directing, Paul will also co-produce the flick along with his partner Jessie Henderson though their FeigCo banner.

According to reports, the project will be set up at Lionsgate. The thriller is an adaptation of a novel by the same name written by Darcey Bell which hit shelves in March 2017. It narrates the story of two best friends Emily and Stephanie who live in small town. While Emily has a bright career working for a famous fashion designer in Manhattan, Stephanie is a blogger. The story takes a twist when Emily suddenly goes missing shocking everyone.

This is the first time that Feig, who is usually known for directing comedies, is experimenting with the thriller genre. On the work front, Kendrick will be seen in the third instalment of the ‘Pitch Perfect’ franchise which will hit the theatres on December 22, 2017. On the other hand, Blake will be seen in ‘All I See Is You’ which is scheduled to release in September.
