Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway might be seen in the upcoming film The Last Thing He Wanted to be directed by Dee Rees. The film is based on a political thriller by Joan Didion. It has also come to light that Cassian Elwes, Wayne Marc Godfrey and Robert Jones are jointly going to bankroll the film.

Moreover, according to reports the screenplay of the film has been penned by Marco Villalobos. Also, it has been learned that the film is based on a journalist Elena McMahon. As per reports in Variety, the journalist finds herself on dangerous ground as the Iran Contra Affair’s arms for drugs plot reaches its tipping point.

Further, on the work front, Hathaway had won an Oscar for Les Miserables in the category of an actress in a supporting role.
