Anne Hathaway To Produce A Movie On Perils Of Dating Apps

After serving as an executive producer for Colossal, actress Anne Hathaway is all set to produce a romantic comedy, which will be based on the danger of dating apps. Apart from producing, the 34-year-old star will also act in the film. Anne will produce the flick in collaboration with Adam Shulman and Jonathan Rice.

The movie has been written by Abby Kohnand Marc Silverstein, who also did the screenplay for How to Be Single, The Vow and He’s Just Not That Into You. On working with Anne, the duo said, "We have been looking for ways to work with Anne, and when she came to us with the idea, we knew right away that we wanted to make this movie with her." “This is a modern day look at love, dating and hookups with a very contemporary and authentic voice that speaks to a generation that casually swipes right to find a mate," they added.

They further said, “As technology has allowed for a new era for matchmaking, it also comes with a lot of comedy and consequences and Anne wanted to explore that territory in funny, relevant and very unexpected ways." The makers of yet-to-be titled movie is still searching for a director. Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway will next be seen in Ocean 8 which will hit the theatres on June 22, 2018.
