Ariel Winter Is Done With Her Mother Attacking Her Publicly

Ariel Winter Workman, aka Alex Dunphy of Modern Family, has had enough of her mother’s negativity. The actress confirms being fed up with her mother not understanding her privacy. Supposedly, her mother Chrisoula ‘Chrystal’ Workman has been openly attacking Ariel for her dressing style. Chrystal told In Touch magazine, “[Ariel] feels the need to expose herself when it’s not necessary”.

A source told HollywoodLife.com, “Ariel is again upset by her mother’s behavior. Ariel has moved on from her relationship with her mom and is hurt that her mom can’t do the same. Ariel wishes she had a mom who would respect her privacy, give her space to make her own decisions in life, and not attack her in public”. “Ariel gets enough criticism about how she chooses to dress from social media and the last thing she needs is for her mother to come after her too. Ariel does not want to dress like everyone else and wishes her mom would keep her name out of her mouth about it. She feels good about her body, her self image and will continue to wear whatever she wants. Ariel will not let her mother control or influence her decisions”, added the source.

In May 2015, the sizzling actress was officially emancipated from her mother on the account of Chrystal’s abusive behaviour. The 19-year-old actress had her guardianship shifted to her sister Shanelle Workman. Ariel, in the past, also suffered from overdevelopment and underwent a breast reduction surgery. She has conquered bullying and body shaming and now feels proud in her own skin.
