Armie Hammer Signs Annapurna’s Untitled Thriller

After receiving accolades for his performance in ‘Call Me By Your Name’, Armie Hammer has been approached by Annapurna Pictures for their next project. Touted to be a thriller, the film will be directed and written by Babak Anvari. Lucan Toh of Two & Two Pictures, Christopher Kopp of AZA Films, and Annapurna Pictures will produce the untitled movie.

The story of the movie revolves around a bartender in New Orleans, who experiences disturbing and inexplicable events after he picks up a phone left behind at his bar. Thereafter, his life begins to unravel. The flick is expected to release on March 29, 2019.

 Armie was last seen in films ‘Call Me by Your Name’ and ‘Final Portrait’. The former earned the actor a Golden Globe nomination for the best supporting actor, while the movie was nominated for Oscars in the best picture category. He also has ‘Sorry to Bother You’ and Ruth Bader Ginsburg biopic, ‘On the Basis of Sex’ in his kitty.
