Arnold Schwarzenegger says he has no regrets over not coming back for the fourth instalment of the Terminator series, Terminator Salvation - which was directed by Joseph McGinty Nichol. When speaking to Good Morning America, the 67-year-old didn’t hold back his words about what he made of the film released in 2009 and his absence from it. The star said "Thank God, it sucked".

The actor was full of praise for the first three films of the franchise and said, "I think that the three that I was in, they all three had their own personalities and interesting storylines". The former Mr. Olympia was not available for the filming of the Terminator Salvation as his duties as Governor of California kept him occupied.

But the two-time governor will be seen in Paramount's Terminator Genisys, which is slated for release on July 1. Being helmed by Alan Taylor, the fifth instalment also features Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney and Jason Clarke.
