Ashleigh Cummings Set To Play Pippa In Warner Bros.’ ‘The Goldfinch’ Adaptation

According to a recent report in Variety, latest news reveals that actress Ashleigh Cummings has recently joined Warner Bros for the role of Pippa . The film is an adaptation of Amazon Studios’ The Goldfinch. The film is said to be helmed by director John Crowley.The film is based on Donna Tartt’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book, The Goldfinch.

The story revolves around a young man named Theodore Decker. Theodore survives a terrorist bombing at an art museum but his mother gets killed in the incident. Moreover, actor Ansel Elgort will be seen playing Theo, “Dunkirk” actor Aneurin Barnard will portray Boris and Willa Fitzgerald as Kitsey.It was earlier heard that Amazon Studios agreed to bankroll the film.

Moreover, the flick will go into production from next year. A budget of 40 million dollars has been estimated as revealed by some insiders. This film will mark Cummings first role in a major project. She had earlier starred in Pork Pie, Hounds of Love and Netflix’s Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries.
