It has been seven years since the popular TV series ‘Ugly Betty’ wet off air. The comedy-drama television series which aired on ABC between 2006 and 2010 revolved around the character Betty Suarez, played by America Ferrera, who lands a job at a prestigious fashion magazine, Mode, despite being considered as unattractive by others. And now Actress Ashley Jensen, who played the role of a seamstress and Betty’s best friend Christina McKinney and worked at the same magazine, has said that she would love to reunite with the cast of the series and make a movie based on the show.

In an interview recently, the 48-year-old teased there is scope for the show to return back to the screens as a movie. "I think the last time I was here we were talking about that but it seems to not be happening at the moment," Ashley said. She added, "I don't know, I mean, gosh...I would love to do it! We all would. I think it was a couple of years ago, or just last year, that we had an 'Ugly Betty' reunion and we went and we all got so excited about seeing each other again.”

Talking about the show, Jensen said, "It was one of these programmes that really touched a lot of people and I think that a lot of people felt a lot of warmth from it. I think there could be scope for a movie, definitely."  ‘Ugly Betty’ won many awards, including two Emmys and three Golden Globes.
