    Assassin’s Creed Movie Trailer Released

    The first trailer for the upcoming film ‘Assassin’s Creed’ has been released by 20th Century Fox. The movie stars Michael Fassbender as the leading actor, accompanied by Michael K. Williams, Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons. ‘Assassin’s Creed’ has been inspired from Ubisoft’s video game franchise by the same name.


    The trailer shows some gripping action sequences with high intensity parkour scenes that the video game followers would be quite familiar with. The video stars of with Marion Cotillard telling Michael’s Callum Lynch that he has been pronounced dead and that he “no longer exists”. He is then strapped into the Animus which takes him back to the Spanish inquisition. It ends with the iconic ‘Leap of Faith’ which was also a significant part of the video game franchise.


    Directed by Justin Kurzel, ‘Assassin’s Creed’ will be released on December 21. The first Assassin’s Creed video game came out in 2007 and since then, there have been more than 15 games in the franchise. The most recent game was Assassins Creed Syndicate which was set in 1868 Victorian era London.
