    Defying all the negative reviews and doubts about the movies, ‘Batman v Superman’ has garnered $27.7 million on Thursday alone. The Warner Bros. film has been a huge hit among all the parts of the world and initial estimates suggest that the movie could go well above $180 million weekend in U.S. itself. If the movie hits the number, it will become the fifth highest domestic opening weekend of all time. 

    One of the much anticipated movies of this year, the flick has already created history for highest Thursday preshow for an Easter Weekend. It broke the record of last year’s “Furious 7” with $15.8 million on its way to a Good Friday launch of $67.4 million and a $147.2 million opening weekend.

    The superhero duo of Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman has created furore all over the globe. It is estimated that the movie will achieve great success in Asia, where much expectations is from China being the world’s second biggest market for film. The movie has opened in 60 major nations which has a price tag of whopping $250 million.
