Nevada officials have confirmed that B.B. King died due to natural causes resulting from his Alzheimer's. The 89-year-old artist died on May 14, 2015, due to the causes that his daughters were unsure of. They believed that the blues musician was murdered by being poisoned.

According to Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg, the musician’s death was also attributed to coronary artery disease, diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure and brain damage from low blood flow. They performed an autopsy, toxicology tests and consulted a neuropathologist, after which they concluded the cause of death. John added, “At this point we can say with confidence that Mr. King died of natural causes. Our condolences go out to the family and many friends of Mr. King, and we hope this determination brings them some measure of closure".

He was hospitalized in April due to complications owing to diabetes. He was considered to be one of the best blues musicians and was popular for his songs, including ‘Three O'Clock Blues’, ‘You Upset Me Baby’, ‘Every Day I Have the Blues’ and ‘Sweet Sixteen’. B.B. King was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
