Beauty and the Beast Trailer Is Now On Top

The recently released trailer for the upcoming Disney flick ‘Beauty and the Beast’ has now taken the top spot for most views in 24 hours. The record was previously held by ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ at a whooping 114 million views. The new trailer for the Emma Watson starrer has garnered more than 127.6 million views in 24 hours.

Disney shared that out of the 127 million, 27 million views were from Emma’s Facebook page. ‘Beauty and the Beast’ stars Dan Stevens, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen and Stanley Tucci. The movie has been directed by Bill Condon with Walt Disney Pictures and Mandeville Films producing the project.

Emma plays the beauty, Belle while Dan plays the beast. The trailer shows a magical mix of CGi and real life, bringing the talking tea pot, the clock and other characters to life. The live-action flick tells the classic story of a young woman who falls in love with her beastly captor, who turns out to be a prince.
