Ben Affleck started his acting career at the age of seven, he first appeared in a local independent film ‘Dark Side of the Street’ in 1981. He then appeared in few television series and few commercials as well. But he did not find any major success as a child actor. The actor reverently said that he is happy things did not workout in his childhood.

The Gone Girl star appeared on 'The Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon and said "Luckily I didn't end up on a show and get famous and go on crack and get crazy. I had a normal childhood. My mother let me go do this thing and then forced me to come home".

Affleck talked about his childhood educational TV show 'Voyage of the Mimi', a PBS series. He said he had a good time shooting for the kid’s oriented show back then. At the work front, he is gearing up for the release of his upcoming flick ‘The Accountant’, which will hit the screens on October 14.
