According to media reports, X-Men actor Ben Hardy will be portraying drummer Roger Taylor in a biopic on the band Queen. The movie has been titled ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and will also star Mr. Robot actor Rami Malek. The biopic will focus on the rise of the band and their journey to the Live Aid concert in 1985.

A source stated that Ben was noticed by the producers of the project. Apparently, the actor has already given a couple of screen tests and the producers thought he would be perfect for the role. “But he's got plenty of work to do before filming starts. Hardy even started taking drumming lessons to get up to scratch”, the source added.

The biopic is being directed by Bryan Singer who has previously worked with Ben Hardy in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’. The actor played Archangel in the film. ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ will hit the screens on December 25, next year.
