Ben Kingsley turns Black Panther
With Jon Favreau having his take on ‘The Jungle Book’, the cast is all set and ready with their voices. Apparently actor, Ben Kingsley will be playing Bagheera the black panther, the famous character in Rudyard Kipling’s Mowgli.
The Academy award winning British actor has agreed to lend his voice for the character. Jon Favreau has decided to make another cinematic adaptation of ‘The Jungle Book’ while another has already been made in 1967. The 70-year-old actor is quite excited about this live action animation film playing Bagheera, the Black Panther who takes care of Mowgli. While as for the other cast, Idris Elba is voicing the villainous Tiger Shere Khan and Scarlett Johansson plays Kaa who’s Mowgli’s python ally. ‘The Jungle Book’ is scheduled to release in October next year.
