    Bill Murray To Record A Classical Album Which Is Set For August Release

    Hollywood star and comedian Bill Murray is prepping up to record a classical album which is scheduled to release this summer. Entitled ‘New Worlds’, the 66-year-old will be singing and performing literary readings over chamber music. He will be working with trio which is headed by cellist Jan Vogler to create the music.

    The Ghostbusters star will be singing Gershwin, West Side Story, and Stephen Foster. Moreover, he will be reading passage from Whitman, Hemingway, and Twain. The chamber music ensemble includes Mira Wang on violin and Vanessa Perez on piano, playing Schubert, Bach, and Piazzolla.

    It is reported that the live show will "explore themes of American history and identity." Murray plans to first premiere his album at Festival Napa Valley in California on July 20 after which he will go on a tour to North America. The album is expected to release in August this year. Further he also plans to perform with Vogler at Carnegie Hall in New York in October.

    Meanwhile, Bill has also collaborated with Late Night With David Letterman musical director Paul Shaffer for a new song which is expected to release on Record Store Day.
