B.J. Novak, a new addition to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 series

B.J. Novak, best known forcomedy television seriesThe Office,has joined the cast ofThe Amazing Spider-Man 2.The director of the series,Marc Webb posted production photos onFeb. 6on Tweeter and commented,“Day 38. A supposed rumor about a Dunder-Mifflin takeover of Oscorp?”

It’s quite clear by his verdict thatNovak will be seen in theSpider-Man’ssequel but his character in the film is not specified yet. The film will castAndrew Garfieldaswebslinger,Emma Stone asGwen Stacy,Sally Field will be playingAunt May,Paul Giamatti asRhino and Foxx is signed to play Electro in the film. The film will retrieve audiences to the theatres on its release on May 2, 2014.
