Brad Pitt Free Of Child Abuse Allegations

It is well known by now that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in a legal battle for the custody of their six children. Brad was dealing with a court case that charged him with child abuse. Now, the Los Angeles county department of children and family services has reportedly completed its investigation in Brad's case and declared him free of the charges.

According to a source, “It was a full and thorough investigation and the determination has been made that no charges should be brought”. The source added that the next step in the case will most probably be a referral to family court to determine who gets custody of the children. Angelina Jolie’s representative stated that “childcare professionals encouraged a legal agreement accepted and signed by both sides that was in the best interest of the children”.

The DCFS started investigating the actor after he allegedly verbally and physically abused his and Angelina’s oldest son Maddox. The actress then filed for divorce. Since then, Angelina has been demanding sole custody of the children while Brad has requested for shared custody.
