‘Brilliance’ may have Jared Leto replacing Will Smith

After earning bags full of accolades and then an Oscar, the singer cum actor Jared Leto now has a shot at replacing superstar Will Smith in an upcoming film titled ‘Brilliance’.

According to reports ‘Brilliance’ is going through some scheduling trouble and Smith now finds tough to accommodate his dates to the project. The film which is to be directed by Julius Onah is an adaptation of a Marcus Sakey novel. The adapted screenplay for the project is written by David Koepp. The changes made in the screenplay are not known but the novel is about some rare set of people in some other world being born with extraordinary abilities. These people were called “Brilliants”. Leto coming in as replacement looks certain and could well mark an interesting premise to the story as the ‘Thirty Seconds to Mars’ singer has just found his feet settling in acting again and also won an Academy for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in ‘Dallas Buyers Club’. Brilliance also stars Noomi Rapace in a prominent character.
