    Bruce Willis to star in Broadway’s Misery


    Bruce Willis is set to make his Broadway debut in the stage version of the 1987 Stephen King novel Misery. Miserey will be directed by Will Frears (Omnium Gatherum) and the production will be backed by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Castle Rock, and Raymond Wu.

    Willis will star as novelist Paul Sheldon, who is saved by his biggest fan, Annie Wilkes, played by Marvel. He becomes Annie’s captive and forces him to write a new novel. Misery has a set design by David Korins (Motown), lighting design by David Weiner (The Normal Heart), and sound design by Tony Award winner Darron West (Peter and the Starcatcher). Willis was recently seen in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For and will next be seen in Barry Levinson’s Rock the Kasbah.
