    Byung-hun Lee joining The Magnificent Seven

    South Korean actor Lee Byung-hun has joined Antoine Fuqua’s remake of The Magnificent Seven. The
    Magnificent Seven itself was a Hollywood remake of the Japanese classic Seven Samurai. Lee is best known for playing Storm Shadow in the live-action G.I. Joe movies and also be better known for playing the new T-1000 in Terminator Genesys.


    The Magnificent Seven is a story about a group of 7 assassins who protected a Mexican town from big baddies. But the remake is reported to center around a mining town that has been taken over by a gold baron. Lee will be joining Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke, Chris Pratt, Luke Grimes, Wagner Moura, and Vincent D’Onofrio.


    According to sources, Jason Momoa is also in talks for a role in the movie. The film is a reboot of the popular 1960 film directed by John Sturges, and the remake will be released through MGM and Sony Pictures. The project is slated to hit theaters on January 13th, 2017.
