Candidates For New Han Solo

It has been known that the iconic character from the Star Wars franchise, Han Solo, will be getting an independent film as part of the Star Wars Anthology films. According to Variety, 8 known names are in talks to play the new Han Solo. There are 4 others whose names are currently unknown.

The supposed candidates are Emory Cohen, Scott Eastwood, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Blake Jenner, Logan Lerman, Jack Reynor and Miles Teller. The actors will perform on a screenplay written by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan. Who will be the lucky one?

It was announced last year the Phil Lord and Chris Miller will be directing the film which is yet to receive a title. The duo is known for their direction of The LEGO Movie. The role of Han Solo, in the Star Wars universe, has been played by Harrison Ford. Lawrence Kasdan has previously co-written the screenplays for The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
