    Today at a press conference in a movie theatre on the Champs-Elysees in Paris, Cannes Film Festival’s director Thierry Fremaux has announced the picks for the fest’s 67th competition. The list includes 49 films while the main competition for the most coveted Palme d'Or award is set to feature 18 films.

    The jury will be announced next week. The festival, which will take place from May 14 to May 25, will screen all the selected 49 films. The traditional red-carpet at Cannes will reportedly open with the Nicole Kidman starrer Grace of Monaco. Here is the complete list of the Cannes Film Festival lineup for 2014:
