Cannes Film Festival to begin with an American flavour

The 66th edition of Cannes International Film Festival will be opened by the Australian director Baz Luhrmann’sThe Great Gatsby. Starting from May 15, the red carpet will be graced by theShahenshahof Bollywood. Veteran Amitabh Bachchan is making his Hollywood debut with this flick.

The Great Gatsbyfeatures Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire in lead roles. The film is an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s bestseller of the same name.The jury of theCannes is being headed by Steven Spielberg.
