    It’s official now that Disney-Marvel’s Captain America 3 will hit the big screens on May 6, 2016 which is the same day when Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.’s yet-to-be-titled Superman-Batman flick will open worldwide.

    After Captain America: The Winter Soldier made a massive U.S. debut, Marvel announced the release date for its sequel on its official website. The second part of Captain America series has grossed $203.3 million overseas over the weekend. Its domestic earnings have been estimated as $96.2 million which is also the biggest ever in April. Till date Captain America: The Winter Soldier has raked in more than $300 million globally.
    It’s highly speculated that anyone among the two contenders will pull out from the May 6, 2016 date. Marvel and Disney showed huge confidence in their Captain America franchise and they are even expecting that Warner Bros. will compromise with their date. Presently the Superman-Batman film is undergoing production in a full swing starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck in the lead roles. This directorial venture by Zach Snyder also features Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Gal Gadot.
